FoodFam, a distinguished culinary quality butcher shop, was established in 1998 in the picturesque countryside of Belgium. Founded by Frank's family, FoodFam began as a modest operation rooted in a deep-seated passion for taste and quality. Guided by the principles of tradition and innovation, Frank's family embarked on a journey to redefine the culinary experience for discerning customers in Belgium and beyond.
CHALLENGES
We encountered difficulties initiating the project due to limited information about the client's desired website. After experimenting with different Woocommerce themes, we ultimately opted to construct it from scratch using Elementor Pro. However, the outcomes did not align entirely with our expectations.
Furthermore, challenges arose when the client sought to incorporate an additional feature—a pickup system into the checkout process, allowing customers to select a preferred day for order pickup.
Solution
- We resolved the issue of theme preference by utilizing the Meat Shop theme by JWPSuperTheme, which proved to be an excellent solution. The client expressed great satisfaction with the chosen theme.
- To address the client's request for a pickup system, we implemented date picker plugins from WordPress. Additionally, we customized these plugins using a custom function to align with the specific requirements of the FoodFam owner.
